As Junior Communications Manager at Asendia you have a unique opportunity to join our dynamic, experienced, and award-winning communications team.

No day will be the same. You will contribute to global communication campaigns and projects related primarily to digital marketing, but can also include branding, thought leadership, sales promotions, and events. You will be an important part of the global communications team who work closely with Asendia subsidiaries and agencies around the world. You will learn our marketing strategy and become a novice with our marketing tools.

We are looking for a person who has a genuine passion for communications. From your first day, you will learn how to use our marketing platforms, assist, and eventually lead campaigns and projects. This position is 100% (full-time), located in Bern, Switzerland. You will support the Senior Global Digital Communications Manager and report to the Head of Global Communications. Occasion travel is required. Our business language is English. French, German or additional languages are not required but provide an advantage.

Become an integrated part of the communications team, and provide support to our subsidiaries and other key departments

Understand our marketing strategy, projects and objectives as well as develop your knowledge on the e-commerce sector and international logistics

Learn how to use our marketing tools and take training courses where required and support with digital channels such as our websites, database communications and social media

Write well-researched content such as blog articles, checklists and e-books

Conduct research and provide reporting analytics

Assist with developing our search-engine-optimisation, website and ad performance

Suggest, present and support with new ideas from conception to delivery

 

You have a degree in Communications, Digital Marketing or similar

You have experience working in a digital marketing environment

You have a positive attitude and are eager for new challenges

You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team

You enjoy working on different tasks, are organised and can meet deadlines. Besides, you are creative and have a passion for communications

You openly accept feedback and openly provide it

You have good communication skills and are confident to present within the Communications Team

You are reliable, trustworthy and respectful
